About Us
VAN VELSENMEER FOUNDATION is a trust aware of its fine tradition which aims at easing human life's constitution by its know-how. This is done in the truest sense of humanistic philosophy. It is our profound belief that reaching this aim can be accelerated with any form of technology. In a world whose economical as well as ecological problems are rising exponentially, we wish to contribute our part according to our responsibility with a purposeful search for solutions and a draft of strategies which - though starting within the microcosmos of our laboratories - find their way into actuality in order to change actuality in our spirit.
Past is thereby our most important implement from which we learn and which we use for the present. Thus, VAN VELSENMEER FOUNDATION defines itself as future's germ cell.
Consequently, we operate in the truest sense of one of our greatest examples, Ada Lovelace, pioneer of computing: 'In every mind we can find the answer, as all our dreams are hidden memories of the future.'
The VAN VELSENMEER FOUNDATION proudly states that more than 5,000 patents have been filed from the very commencements in late 19th century (reading: 31st december, 2006) - and their number is still growing. As a private non-profit organisation, we exchange many results of our multifaceted areas of research in the world wide web and thus pave the way also for them towards leading technologies of our modern industrial and informational world. In our dignified principal office in Munich, we thereby strictly abide by our unknown founder's requirements who defined the trust 'as a well arranged, conversant, and competent association with firm intents'.
